NLEX shock

Henry, the kids and I visited my mom last Saturday (Feb 27). This was the first time we travelled NLEX after they implemented the toll fee hike. Super shocked kami! We never though that the hike was that much. Upon entry to the highway, we paid Php42 to the teller. Although it's a bit high from the Php7.50 we used to pay, to me that was tolerable. Upon reaching Sta. Rita exit, we were asked to pay another P36. Now that is too much. It's extortion! Yes, the road is smoother and wider now but my pocket says it's not fair. How on earth can the Mang Pandoy afford that? (well, h cannot afford a car in the first place). If you commute everyday, that would be additional Php141 (Sta.Rita-Balintawak). This morning, another round of fuel hike was announced. Haaayyy buhaaayyyy....

Honey, i blog the kids!

Vince and Shannen are my two lovely children. Vince is 5 while Shannen is 9 months. Vince is a real 'kuya' to Shannen. We've tought him to always love, adore and protect his little sister. He would always give Shannen hugs and kisses. I hope this continues as they grow older.

Despite Shannen being very young, there are evedent similarities in my two kids. Although Shannen is fairer, they really look alike. Same built, face shape, eyes, lips, etc. Another thing, they are both 'malikot'. I thought Shannen would be an opposite but it turned out that she is as spirited as Vince. Haayy!!! nakakapagod.

I thank God everyday for my children, the best gift He has given me.

First Time

Yup... this is my first time to post. I've always thought that I could write. I've mastered the art of writing excuse letters, book reports, complaint letters, etc. So what's next? Well, I'm not really good enough to be book author or a lifestyle columnist. This blog is a good idea, fits me just right.
