That was actually the second time. The first time happened a couple of years ago.

The year was 2001. May nakita akong magandang ads. Business Analyst for SAP for JAKA ang nakalagay. Tamang-tama sa qualifications ko yung requirements nila. At higit sa lahat, SAP yon. Malaking challenge para sa akin. As in malayo sa Visual Foxpro/Basic applications namin sa office.

So nag-apply ako. After the exam, I was interviewed by the team leader. Ang huling tanong sa akin “when can you start?. Sabi ko, “Please give me a month. Ok daw.

Di nagtagal, nagpa-medical ako (sagot nila yung bayad).

Right after that talk, I got a phone call from my future boss. Katatapos lang daw ng meeting nya with her bosses.

After two days, bumalik ako sa opisina nya. A few months later, I was promoted.

I do hereby tender my resignation....

I just had a talk with my boss. I told her that I’m leaving the company to migrate to NZ. Contrary to what I was expecting, di sya mukhang happy/excited para sa amin. In fact, she sounded skeptical. Ba't daw New Zealand (with matching taas ng kilay)? Why are we uprooting ourselves in the Phil for NZ? Ba't hindi sa Canada, US or Australia? Although she agrees that it’s a beautiful place pero parang di sya elibs sa NZ. Well opinion nya yon, di ko na sya kinontra.

April 22. That will be my last working day.

CFO and DSWD

First stop CFO.

Puno yung seminar room . Nasa 60 to 70 ang tao. The rest, mga papuntang US.

I would like to point out some important things I’ve learned from the seminar.

- A migrant must inform the Philippine embassy in his host country about his arrival.
- Never bring pirate stuffs (i.e. CD, bags, shirts, learning materials, etc).
- Have you passport renewed if it’ll expire in less than 6 months from time of departure
- Lastly, if your passport is damaged (torn page, broken plastic laminate, food/beverage stain, etc.), have it replaced.

Papuntang US naman sila.

1 day, 2 accomplishments. Next step, LTO.

Blue, blue, blue . . .

Our passports with that shiny blue visa has finally arrived. We’ve been praying for this for 4 years now. The best ka talaga, Lord.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not complaining. Mas gusto ko ang ganito ang pino-problema.

To everyone who has been a part of our NZ dream, thank you. To those who are still in the process of applying, konting tiis na lang at dadating din yan.

Ang utang....bow

Wow! Yipee! Wahoo! Anyway, I'm writing her later to confirm.
