1. NZQA report
2. Recommendation letter from at least 3 employers
3. Certificate of employment from previous employers
4. Passport showing visa
5. IELTS certificate

Henry @ Matarangi
Five days after Henry arrived in Auckland, nasabak na agad sya sa outing.
250km from Auckland ang Maratangi. Beach yung pinuntahan nila kaya surfing, boogey boarding and fishing ang naging activities nila. Whattalife! Henry enjoys the outdoor and this kind of leisure really thrills him.

Visitor's Visa for MIL -Part 4
A week after completing the requirements, NZIS Makati emailed my dear MIL to inform that her application is on Managed Queue. Within the next 4 weeks they'll contact her again for her application's processing time and case officer. I don't think she'll face the case officer for an interview. I believe that they'll make a decision based on the documents we submitted.
The end of the 4th week falls on May 10. I hope that a positive decision has been made by then. The kids and I are scheduled to leave on May 19. It would be less taxing for me if she could accompany us on our trip.

Henry's first job interview
Henry had his first job interview today. Although willing naman yung host nya to drive him around the city, he took the bus to know his way around. Nakauwi naman sya in one piece.
The position he applied for is something he would never consider here in the Philippines. But what the heck. It's NZ! When we started our migration plans, we expected that our jobs will be downgraded. This way, he won't get frustrated just esily.
His interviewer said he overqualified for the position but would still consider him. If they hire him, he'll start on Wednesday next week. I advised him to look for other oppurtunities before saying accepting any job. Malay mo, meron pang mas maganda pa syang makita.

Henry's Day 01 in AKL
= = = = = = =
Day 01:
Arrived in NZ at 11:45, the airport is in the southern part of Auckland. My hosts greeted me at the arrival exit.
Got a little confused with RHD, felt like the vehicle is always on the wrong side of the road. Never felt this in Bangkok bec. traffic is slow. In Auckland, everyone drives very fast.
We passedby a Korean resto to have lunch. Servings are very large equivalent to 2 meals for me. Noel ordered chicken noodles for me but I only finish half of it. (inuwi ko pa kalahati and ate it the next day).
Nag-rest ng konti then went to Thomas Moore church to attend mass.
Then dinner sana sa vietnamese resto but puno ang place, so we went to pizzahut-request ng mga kids and have dinner.
Went home after dinner and watched the Rex Navarrete DVD I brought. Tawa sila ng tawa kay Rex. Rested after that.
end of day 1.

NESW Auckland

DSWD -Parental Consent
I was talking to Jane of P2NZ yesterday. She was confirming if it's true that minors travelling with one parent doesn't need DSWD travel clearance anymore. Ang alam ko kailangan kasi kumuha kami ng clearance for my 2 kids last Feb. 16.
I made my own research. Tinawagan ko kanina ang DSWD Malate. To my surprise, tama ang sinabi kay Jane. Ang requirement na lang ngayon ay notarized parental consent from the non-accompanying parent. Any lawyer can do this.
Kahapon lang daw ito na-disseminate ng DSWD. Since bago pa, bigyan daw namin ng konting time ang Immigration para maging informed sila. Good news to kasi talaga nga namang sobrang hirap pumila sa DSWD.
