I just had a talk with my boss. I told her that I’m leaving the company to migrate to NZ. Contrary to what I was expecting, di sya mukhang happy/excited para sa amin. In fact, she sounded skeptical. Ba't daw New Zealand (with matching taas ng kilay)? Why are we uprooting ourselves in the Phil for NZ? Ba't hindi sa Canada, US or Australia? Eh di syempre sinabi ko na maganda ang NZ at tingin namin ay maraming potentials. Although she agrees that it’s a beautiful place pero parang di sya elibs sa NZ. Well opinion nya yon, di ko na sya kinontra.
April 22. That will be my last working day. Sana makakuha sila agad ng kapalit ko para naman maayos ang turn-over ko. Ayoko namang iwanan ang trabaho ko na chaotic.

Nakarating na ang boss ko sa NZ (she even came close to do bunjee jumping) pero tingin ko di nya nakita what most of you have seen. It doesn't just have a majestic scenery, but it also have beautiful lifestyle, clean environment and wonderful people. Ano pa ang hahanapin mo?

got the same reaction from my boss, colleages, and relatives when i resigned from my job in the US. no explanation will suffice really. all i told them is because i want to be different from the usual. i want a quieter place and i'm not interested in earning lots of money. just want to live quitely in a peaceful place.
