Ang mistress ni mister

Alam nyo ba na ang origin ng Mrs. ay mistress? In the early days, this is actually a title of courtesy for married women. So nung una daw pino-pronounce ito as mistress but later on it became "missus" but the abbreviation remained as Mrs. Ngayon, iba na ang meaning non. Pag may tumawag sa yong mistress, naku eskandalo yon.

Para naman sa Mr., it was originally "master" (hanggang ngayon may gumagamit dito ng master). Nag-evolve din yon kaya naging mister.
