Today is a holiday. Labour Day kasi. Lahat ng tao ay nasa pasyalan except for us. The kids and I spent the whole day at home. Henry and BIL on the otherhand, worked for few hours. Ok lang yon. Ang dami na kasi naming nagawa nang nakaraang 2 araw.
Let me start with Saturday. Kasama ang mga kaibigan namin, nagpunta kami sa Silverdale (north Auckland). May bagong bukas ng laruan doon. It's called The Luge. This is how it works. Using in a motorless car (see pictures), magpapadausdos ka from the top of the hill (mga 3 to 4 minutes din siguro yon). Pagpataas, you ride in a travellator (parang escallator). The boys really enjoyed it. They like it really fast. Kami ni Shannen sumakay din pero ayaw namin ng mabilis.
Next stop is Bumper Boat. Di ko mapaandar ng maayos yung boat. Talo pa ako ni Vince. At dahil "bumper boat" syempre may banggaan. Masaya talaga pero basa ka naman pagkatapos. Buti na lang may baon kaming extra clothes.
Sunday is dedicated to Kelly Tarlton. Ang dami naming nakitang isda gaya ng clown fish, sea horse, starfish, puffle fish, mako shark, snapper, stingray, etc. We also saw penguins which awed Shannen to the max. Ang cute naman kasi. Gusto nga ni Shannen magkaron kami ng pet penguin. Nakupo, ang hirap non.
Sunday pm, nag-aya si Henry sa Westfield Albany (the biggest mall in NZ). On our way there, may kakaibang nangyari. Nahuli ng pulis si Henry for speeding. It was a 50K road, nasa 64km/hr ang takbo namin. The fine is $80. Oh no!!!!! Now you know why Henry is working overtime today. he he he

Hindi lang Labour Day ang iba dito. Pati Father's day. First Sunday ng Sept ito sine-celebrate dito. Sa Pinas tuwing June ito.
