Getting a job offer in NZ from overseas

However, getting one is soo difficult pero di naman impossible. Maraming employers ang ayaw ng applicants from overseas because of the paperwork they have to deal with.

It's a different story in this part of the world. Employers will need to see you face-to-face before they consider you.

Yung isa, nasa Hawkes bay since early this year. The other one is still working on their application. Job openings are posted in newspapers but most companies resort to the internet.

If there is a shortage in a particular skill, it's easier for the employer to process the work visa. These are companies accredited by the government and are allowed to processs overseas applicants with less paperwork (di ko matandadaan kung saan ko na-download yung list, email nyo na lang ako).

PR applications with job offer are expedited by NZIS. Syempre they also take into consideration that the employer could not wait for a long time.
